Evacuation Information

Note that this information is not in chronological order; it is arranged by topic and updated as needed.

Wireless Emergency Alerts were sent to notify zones near recent burn areas of an Evacuation Warning that will go into effect at 11 am on Wednesday, 12/31/25. The zones under Evacuation Warning are marked on the map below.

Burn Scar Areas Specified Evacuation Warnings
As of Wednesday, December 31, 11:00 AM

Law Enforcement personnel in the field are also notifying specific properties about the Evacuation Warnings in recent wildfire burn scare areas effective 12/31/2025 at 11:00 AM. This is due to weather forecasts and the possibility of mud and debris flows.

Law enforcement personnel are making door to door contact to notify those specific properties. Since these are specific properties and not entire local zones, those locations will not be individually depicted on the map below.

Always follow directions from emergency personnel. Should an official Evacuation Order be designated for your location, it is a lawful order to leave immediately. An Evacuation Warning means you should prepare to evacuate in case there is later an order to evacuate; consider voluntarily evacuating if you need more time to do so.

Mud and debris flows also have the ability to block roads and limit access in areas where they do occur. Having an emergency plan and emergency supplies is advised. Visit ready.lacounty.gov for preparedness tips and tricks.

Antelope Valley Foothills Safety Advisory

Flooding was observed in the Antelope Valley foothills area near Lake Los Angeles, Valyermo, Juniper Hills, Pearblossom, and Llano. Flooded roadways, road crossings, and other low-lying areas may be very dangerous. Water may be fast moving and deeper than it appears. Use caution on roads and do not enter flooded areas – Turn Around, Don’t Drown! Never bypass a road closure.
